Ryan Hill

President

Ryan and his wife, Heather, were married at Metro in 2004. Ryan became the Children’s Pastor and part-time Bible teacher at Metro Christian Academy. Heather taught Kindergarten at MCA for two years. During that time, God called Ryan and Heather to serve as church planting missionaries in Thailand. They spent the next nine years learning the language, ministering in churches, and pastoring the Immanuel Baptist Church in Baan Bueng, Thailand.

In 2016 the Hill family moved back to Tennessee. Ryan has served here at Metro in a variety of roles from Youth Pastor to Assistant Pastor. In August of 2019, Ryan became senior pastor of Metro Baptist Church after Pastor Martin retired.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Missions from Tennessee Temple University in 2004 and a Master of Ministry from Piedmont International University in 2019.

Ryan’s hobbies include golfing, and watching the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. Ryan and Heather are the proud parents of three children: Addisyn, Branson, and Judson.

Cyndi Augustin

Principal | Preschool Director

Cyndi came to Metro in August of 1985 with a BS in Elementary Education. Since beginning her career in the elementary classroom, she has also earned her Master's degree in Educational Leadership. She is currently serving as principal of Metro Christian Academy and as director for Metro Baptist Preschool.

Mrs. Augustin met her husband, Terry, at Metro Baptist Church where they are both active members. She has seen this ministry grow and go through many building projects throughout the past several years.

Dewayne Coleman

Business Manager

Dewayne joined our MCA team in 2005. Since that time, he has been involved in marketing and development, community outreach and support, advertising, fundraising, and a variety of other projects. Mr. Coleman is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University and holds a double Bachelors in Psychology and Youth Ministries. He is currently serving in the capacity as Business Manager.

Linda Philips

Bookkeeper

Linda considers it a privilege to use her accounting and finance background to serve God and assist with administrative tasks that happen behind the scenes at Metro. She graduated from California State University Long Beach with her BS in Accounting and has worked in the church and school offices since 1995.

She enjoys spending time with her three children and two grandchildren. Linda especially loves being "grammie" to Max and Cora Mae. Her husband, George passed away in 2020 and was a long-time member and staff member of MBC.

Kendall Cutrell

Marketing | Office Manager

Kendall joined our team in July of 2019. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Emphasis from Union University in Jackson, TN. Kendall serves as the marketing director, office manager, and varsity cheer coach.

Her goal is to help connect our families, alumni, and current students with not only each other but with the community as well.
